Gibus Twist Roof

Known throughout Europe for their retractable fabric roof systems for the commercial and domestic market Gibus have just launched their newest all weather protection system, the 'Twist'. It is an all aluminium lean to or self supporting structure with a roof consisting of rotating aluminium fins that will either sit completely flat and seal the roof or open up to 130 degrees to let light and air in whislt still providing shade in the way louvred system can.

The fins are adjusted automatically by electric motors and control of these can be by various methods but usually a hand held remote control handset. LED lights can be incorporated into the system in various places to create either ambient or full on lighting effects.

The rainwater that hits the roof is directed into channels built in and around the roof sections and is directed down the support legs to drain away on the surface outside or into a soakaway.

Various options are also available to enclose some or all of the sides such as vertical fabric blinds, see through Upvc blinds or sliding glass doors. With these installed you have an area that can be used throughout the year whatever the weather.
