Med Zenit Utilised at a Popular and Modern Hotel
This installation features the new Med Zenit product at a fantastic modern hotel in Avellino, Italy. The Hotel de la Ville is a modern building, and is one of the most popular conference centres in all of Central-Southern Italy. Because of this the hotel needed to equip their outdoor garden and patio area, as it is where buffets and parties are held for their high class guests.
Installing pergolas was intended to give their guests shelter, and also make it easier for their guests to stay outside and enjoy the Italian mediterranean climate on the hottest days of summer. For this, three Med Zenit systems was chosen, a creation that was unveilved in the 2018 summer season that represent the future of retractable roof systems.

The system is made of an extruded poder-coated aluminium frame, covered by PVC. It has internal guttering and multiple possibilities for LED lighting within the frame and roof. The main benefit of this system is actually the PVC fabric roof. Rather than being sloped like similar systems, it has a curved fabric roof supported by horizontal supporting posts that ensure the fabric retains it's shape. This ensures the rainwater doesn't pool on top, and instead simply rolls down the sides into the Anti-Splash guttering, and is then directed down the legs, ensuring no splashes and or dripping water.
The three pergolas were installed in just three days by four operators, and have dramatically changed the outdoor space of the hotel.
